  I dropped my wedding rings off to be cleaned on a Thursday. I was told they "send them out" and that they would be back at the beginning of the following week. I didn't hear from anyone on Monday so on Tuesday I called and left a message. I simply stated who I was and was wondering if my rings were back so that I could drive over Tuesday afternoon and pick them up. I never received a call back. Wednesday I had to leave another message. At this time I asked if someone would PLEASE call me either way. If my rings weren't back, I wanted to know when they would be as I had been told beginning of the week. Still, no phone call back. Thursday (a week from when I dropped them off) I left my third message. Finally, mid-day Thursday, I called from a friend's phone, thinking that maybe if MY number didn't come up on the caller ID a human would pick up and I wouldn't have to leave a message. Sure enough, a lady answered, when I told her who I was, she put me on hold and said "nope, we don't have them back yet." When I asked why, as I had been told they would be back at the beginning of the week, she said that the person they send them out to, had taken an extra day off. I would not have been upset AT ALL if someone from Harrison Newsome would have just returned one of my phone calls letting me know this. The woman never apologized. Not once while I was on the phone did she even acknowledge that I had left three messages with no call back. Finally, Thursday late afternoon, someone called to say they were back. I picked them up Friday morning. The ONLY reason I am giving them 2 stars and not 1 is b/c the woman I dealt with on Friday was polite and nice when I went in. I'm not sure if she knew my situation but there was still never any apology about the extended wait to get the rings back, nor about the fact that NO ONE ever returned my calls. I was still charged the normal amount to have them cleaned. There was no effort whatsoever on their part to provide any satisfactory customer service. A simple "we're sorry for the inconvenience" goes a long way. More importantly, It's hard to trust a company with really expensive jewelry when you can't even get them to call you back….
